Berlin boys' basketball team gets send off ahead of Class 1A state championship in Hershey

SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — The Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers received a small parade, with fire truck escorts, as the squad left the school Wednesday on its way to Hershey for the PIAA state basketball championships.

Fans lined the parking lot of the school, as well as Main Street, to show their support for the team.

Berlin will take on Imani Christian Academy on Thursday at 2 p.m. at the GIANT Center for the Class 1A title.
