Coroner IDs victim of early morning fatal crash in Altoona

Altoona, PA (WJAC) — Blair County Coroner Patty Ross has identified the victim of Thursday's early morning fatal crash in Altoona.
Ross says 22-year-old Collie Brown was traveling at a high rate of speed, along the 10th Ave. expressway, when he collided with a light pole and a tree.
Investigators say he and a female passenger were ejected from the vehicle.
Authorities say the female passenger who was ejected was transported to UPMC Altoona. Her condition is unknown at this time.
Ross says that another passenger was injured but is okay.

Altoona police say one person was killed and two others were seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash in Altoona early Thursday morning.
Authorities say the crash, which included ejection, occurred along the 1100 block of the 10th Ave. expressway.
Police say the driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene and two passengers were transported to UPMC Altoona.
Altoona Police are still investigating the crash and the identity of the victim has not yet been released by authorities.
