Authorities say a Clearfield County man was convicted last week after standing trial for his role in a 2021 fatal overdose of a 36-year-old woman.

Officials say Trevor Bloom was found guilty on most of the charges he faced, including drug delivery resulting in death, possession with the intent to deliver and reckless endangerment.

He was, however, found not guilty of involuntary manslaughter, according to District Attorney Ryan Sayers.

Bloom was charged earlier this year following a year-long investigation into the fatal overdose of Lindsay Laborde.

Police say in December of 2021, Laborde was reportedly found unresponsive after Bloom allegedly gave her "heroin" after she reportedly complained of a headache.

Investigators say the coroner later determined that Laborde died as a result of a fentanyl overdose.

Sayers says Bloom faces a minimum of 5 and-a-half to seven years in prison but could spend up to 40 years behind bars.

According to online court records, Bloom is scheduled to be sentenced on Feb. 12.
