Man injured after car hits his motorcycle on Route 22

HENDERSON TOWNSHIP – A 64-year-old Huntingdon man and a 73-year-old Huntingdon woman were injured when the woman's car hit the man's motorcycle along Route 22 near the Laird Circle intersection around 11 a.m. Saturday, state police said.
State police in Huntingdon said Mary Lou Ciampa was trying to turn her Ford Focus left off Route 22 to go to Ardenheim Independent Brethren Church when her car hit Robert Ross’ motorcycle as he was going west on Route 22.
Ross was thrown from the motorcycle by the impact, officials said. He was not wearing a helmet, they said.
Ross was taken to the hospital for treatment of possibly moderate or serious injuries. Ciampa was taken to the hospital for treatment of possibly minor injuries.
