Mike Tyson experiences medical episode on plane during cross-country flight: reports
LOS ANGELES (TND) — Boxing legend Mike Tyson is recovering after he suffered a medical episode on a plane from Miami to Los Angeles Monday, according to multiple reports.
Tyson was on the flight when he reportedly experienced symptoms, including nausea and dizziness.
Mr. Tyson is doing great,” a representative for the 57-year-old Tyson told CNN.The media outlet reported Tyson's representative said the boxer had "an ulcer flare up 30 minutes before landing,” adding that he "is appreciative to the medical staff that were there to help him.”
According to CNN, reps also said the medical issue will not impact his upcoming fight with Jake Paul, which is set for July 20. The two have been trading insults leading up to the boxing match.

Paul also called out Tyson on several times on social media leading up to the much-anticipated bout.
"Dead man walking," he wrote May 16.
The two will face off at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, which is the home of the Dallas Cowboys.
Netflix is set to stream the fight, marking the streaming company's first time diving into combat sports and the third live sporting event overall.
