Philly homicide suspect arrested in Johnstown on drug charges
Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — Authorities in Cambria County say a Philadelphia homicide suspect was arrested in Johnstown Tuesday.
District Attorney Greg Neugebauer says multiple law enforcement agencies raided a home, located along the 100 block of Joseph Ave., where they reportedly found 19-year-old Arnold Miller Jr.
Officials say Miller was wanted out of Philadelphia on homicide and other related charges.
During a search of the home, authorities say police seized two firearms, 64 suspected fentanyl pills, crack cocaine, hallucinogenic mushrooms, marijuana, ecstasy pills and other drug paraphernalia.
Officials say Miller faces various drug-related charges, as well as resisting arrest and illegal firearms possession.
“The continued cooperation between federal, state, and local authorities is once again evident in today’s events in the City of Johnstown. Not only were multiple drugs taken off of our streets today, but a wanted individual in a homicide was apprehended without innocent bystanders being hurt. We thank the dedicated law enforcement professionals for their skills and dedication in finding wanted individuals," Neugebauer said.
He is being held at the Cambria County Prison on $1 million bail.
