Road Trippin' PA | Antiochian Village

Publish date: 2024-05-02

Situated just a short drive from the heart of the 6 News viewing area, just outside of Ligonier, is a conference and retreat center that has a rich history tied to, not only the local area, but across the world.

It's a place that tells the story of those who first settled here and their devotion to their faith.

It allows visitors to look at religious artifacts and also read the story of a local woman who survived one of the greatest passenger disasters in history.

Saint Raphael of Brooklyn was originally buried in New York but later relocated to the grounds of the Antioch Village.

Aside from use of the facilities, all other activities are free and open to anyone who would like to view the artifacts or just walk the forests path that surrounds the site.

They ask that you let them know when you’re using the trail so they can show where their property ends and the adjacent ones begin.
