Tim Bream serving as Head Athletic Trainer for Tennessee-Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Former Penn State head football athletic trainer and Beta Theta Pi advisor Tim Bream has a new job.
According to a spokesman at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga, Bream was hired as the university's Head Athletic Trainer.
The spokesman said that Bream "was thoroughly vetted" during the hiring process and started March 2.
According to his bio on the school's website, Bream's tenure at Penn State is not listed as previous experience.
Bream resigned from Penn State in February.
He was the live in adviser at the Beta Theta Pi House the night pledge Timothy Piazza took part in an initiation event where he was forced to drink and eventually died two days later, according to investigators.
Bream testified in court that he was not aware that drinking was taking place during that event.
He came under criticism for those remarks and some are accusing Bream that, in fact, he did know what took place that night and said he lied under oath.
No charges have been filed against Bream at any point during the investigation.
